Radiant Horizons is a solar protection plan provider serving the Tampa Bay area of Florida. We offer monitoring, annual health checks, and service coordination for residential solar systems. References to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to Radiant Horizons.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly: When you contact us or sign up for a protection plan, we may collect your name, address, phone number, email address, and information about your solar system (inverter brand, system size, serial number).
Solar system data: With your authorization, we access production and performance data from your inverter's monitoring platform (such as Enphase Enlighten or SolarEdge Monitoring) for the sole purpose of providing monitoring services.
Website usage data: This website does not currently use analytics tracking, cookies, or any third-party tracking tools. We do not collect any data from visitors who simply browse the site.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and manage your solar protection plan
- Monitor your solar system's performance and alert you to issues
- Schedule and coordinate service visits
- Send monthly production reports and account communications
- Respond to your inquiries and customer service requests
- Comply with legal obligations

- Inverter manufacturers: Accessing your system monitoring data requires interaction with platforms operated by Enphase, SolarEdge, or similar manufacturers. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
5. Solar System Monitoring Data
When you enroll in a Radiant Horizons protection plan, you grant us access to your inverter's monitoring platform. We access this data only to provide services under your agreement — performance monitoring, alert detection, and monthly reporting. We do not sell, license, or otherwise monetize your system's production data.
You may revoke monitoring access at any time, which will result in the suspension of monitoring-related services under your plan.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Customer data is stored securely and access is limited to Radiant Horizons personnel who need it to perform their job functions.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your protection plan is active and for a reasonable period thereafter (typically three years) for legal and business record purposes. System performance data may be retained for the duration of your subscription to support historical reporting.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of any non-essential communications

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes relating to this policy shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions of your Solar Protection Plan Agreement.
